- Provide strategic guidance to Program Managers and Control Account Managers on planning, scheduling, and cost forecasting
- Lead a team of Planners, Schedulers, and Analysts in the development and execution of integrated master plans and schedules for multiple multi-million-dollar Defense ship repair projects, commercial and navy fabrication, and commercial ship repair
- Ensure the achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, and oversee the development and maintenance of schedules in support of Project Managers and Program teams
- Lead the scheduling/planning department with a focus on Earned Value Management and scheduling
- Oversee the development and maintenance of production scheduling and data management models/tools to support future government contracts
- Participate in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve planning, scheduling, and resource forecasting
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (e.g. Engineering, Business, Management) and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Experience in Planning/Scheduling/Program Controls Management
- Experience in Cost Forecasting/Estimating
- Experience in Performance Management (KPIs, Metrics, etc.)
- Experience in Data Analytics and Reporting to support stakeholder decision-making
- Experience in People Management, leading teams and achieving business objectives
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Management (CAM)
- Knowledge of Planning/Scheduling principles (Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Critical Path, etc.)
- Knowledge of Program/Project Management methodologies (Gantt, PERT, etc.)
- Ability to align cross-functional resources to meet business goals
- Ability to identify risks and opportunities and recommend contingency plans
- Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Ability to be agile in a dynamic environment
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in US Navy Ship Repair, Shipbuilding, or Maritime industry
- Experience in Deltek Open Plan software or similar scheduling tools
- Experience in Deltek Cobra Software or similar Earned Value Management tools
- Ability to ensure accountability
- Ability to support innovation and change
