Pay Rate: $15/hour

Overview

People Share Norfolk is hiring a Production Technician for a medical supplies manufacturing company in Norfolk. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a clean, controlled production environment.

Candidates must be able to start quickly, pass a background check and drug test, and be comfortable wearing required PPE, including a bonnet and full protective garments over clothing during the shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality testing, inspections, and production procedures.
• Review and approve production batch records and quality documents for accuracy and completion.
• Audit in-process documentation throughout the day.
• Record and maintain sterilization records.
• Organize and maintain quality records and retention areas.
• Report potential non-conformances, issues, or roadblocks to the Quality Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Follow all established quality, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a clean background check and drug test.
• Comfortable wearing PPE (bonnet, gown, and protective coverings).
• Reliable attendance and ability to start quickly.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits.
• Comfortable working in a structured, regulated environment.
