Production Planner

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a production planner to support our client in Norfolk, VA. This candidate will be responsible for tracking materials, updating project schedules, providing project updates in real time, and providing monthly production reports for all assigned projects. This candidate can expect to work on at least eight projects at one time and must be extremely experienced utilizing excel to track and document project deadlines.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM EST, and the pay ranges between $30-$32/hr.

3-5 years of experience as a production planner.

Extensive experience utilizing excel to track and update project schedules.

Ability to work on multiple projects at one time (ideally up to eight at a time). Background in metal fabrication shops.

Experience using Costpoint (ERP system).
