Duties
You will follow safety rules and regulations for using, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials used in boilermaking work.
You will perform cutting or fitting to install boilers, tanks, condensers, or components on ships.
You will operate equipment (e.g., portable valve test system, test panels, pressure pumps, portable test units) to inspect and test boilers, condensers, or components.
You will install and repair boiler furnace refractories and burner throats to maintain efficient operations.
