General Dynamics NASSCO in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking a 1st shift J-4 Shop-based Ship fitter. The candidate must be able to operate a water jet table, have AutoCAD experience and basic computer skills. Shift is 6 AM to 2:45 PM with a 45-minute lunch break.
Work includes planning with blueprints and assembling ship foundations and structures. The role requires knowledge of welding symbols and ship nomenclature; provide templates and assemble ship components, all in an equal-opportunity
