Avail Staffing is seeking shipyard structural welders with ship fitter experience to join our growing team in Norfolk, VA. Candidates must pass a stick weld test in 2g, 3g and 4g and have at least 5 years of welding in a shipyard environment.
Experience with aluminum welding is a plus; applicants will read blueprints, prepare metal, perform SMAW, GMAW and FCAW welding, and ensure quality through inspection while upholding safety standards in an outdoor shipyard setting.
