Maintenance Budget And Program Manager Team Lead For Aircraft Carriers
You will serve as the maintenance budget and program manager team lead for Aircraft Carriers (CVNs) in Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) in support of Commander Naval Air Forces, Atlantic (CNAL).
You will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, formulating, and enforcing operational processes and standards as they relate to the repair, maintenance, and modernization of Atlantic fleet aircraft carriers.
You will establish program objectives and long range plans to ensure the aircraft carrier force is kept materially ready and readiness standards and practices are implemented.
You will perform a variety of program management and analytical duties connected with formulation, justification, submission, and execution of the ship maintenance strategy and financial resources.
You will review and monitor prior and current year program execution and out-year maintenance requirements, recommending required adjustments to execution budgets and out-year requirements.
You will act as a liaison between CNAL N43 and the Carrier Planning Activity (CPA).
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the
Functional Area
and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying technical engineering principles, methods, and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating and managing engineering projects and resources, including technical performance to plan and coordinate the repair, maintenance, and modernization of warfare systems on ships, aircraft, or related systems or equipment.
