Location:
Norfolk, VA 23504 Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 + Bonus

As a CAM Programmer, you will support CNC machining operations through advanced programming, fixture design, and teamwork to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for milling and turning operations
- Develop tooling paths for new and existing parts with precision and efficiency
- Design and build CNC work holding fixtures for machining operations
- Design soft fixtures for secondary manufacturing processes and inspection applications
- Support CAD modeling and drawing revisions (Inventor preferred)
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and throughput
- Provide technical support for CNC machining and manufacturing processes
What You Need for this Position
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or related technical field (Engineering degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of CAD/CAM experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with Mastercam Mill 3D and Turning
- Ability to read, analyze, and troubleshoot G-code
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling, fixture design, and CNC machining background
- Preferred skills include 5 axis programming, dual spindle turning, 3D printing, and CMM inspection
