• The Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the department.
• Under the direction of the department manager, leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff.
• Increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.

• This unit is a 24-bed unit that provides high-acuity cardiac care for pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients, including bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, and other cardiac-based procedures and treatments.
• Dedicated to high-quality care, patient outcomes, and safety.
• Nurses handle 3–4 patients on this unit based on acuity level.

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) Required, or MSN.

• Virginia RN License or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
• All Direct Care RNs are required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire.

• Position requires 18 months of RN experience.
