**** Department/Unit Overview:
** This Unit provides care to the following types of neuroscience patients**:
*** Back and Neck surgical patients
* Epilepsy patients
* All neurosurgeries ( brain, pituitary, etc.)
* Stroke patients ( surgical and non-surgical)
** Education
* ** Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
** Certification/Licensure
*** Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
* Basic Life Support (BLS)
* ACLS* NIH Stroke Scale
** Experience
* ** Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
