Schedule: 3x12, 4x10, or 5x8 shifts available | Days or Nights
Pay: $2,900–$3,000 per week (based on experience)
Travel Package: Available for qualifying travel nurses
Referral Bonus: $500 for qualified referrals (100+ hours worked)
OverviewA leading children’s hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking experienced Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time contract assignments. These roles support acute care pediatric units and require hands‑on experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in acute care hospital units
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies specific to pediatric populations
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatric specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support and educate patients and families throughout hospitalization
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards in accordance with hospital policy
- Active RN License (Virginia or Compact State) –
Required - BLS –
Required - Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric acute care or inpatient pediatric experience – Required
- Pediatric hospital experience –
Required - BSN –
