Seven Healthcare is thrilled to offer a Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse opportunity in Norfolk, Virginia. This assignment features a weekly blended rate of $3,350, based on a 4×9 schedule covering variable day and night shifts. This role is ideal for an experienced IR RN skilled in providing peri‑procedural nursing care, supporting image‑guided interventions, and ensuring patient safety throughout pre‑, intra‑, and post‑procedure phases.

Key Responsibilities of the IR RN
Provide pre‑, intra‑, and post‑procedure nursing care for patients undergoing IR procedures
Assist with angiography, embolization, biopsies, drain placements, thrombolysis, central line insertions, and more
Administer and monitor moderate sedation safely
Maintain sterile technique and assist with room setup and equipment readiness
Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and patient responses throughout procedures
Collaborate with interventional radiologists, technologists, anesthesia, and recovery teams
Document assessments, medications, procedural details, and recovery progress accurately
Promote patient education and support pre‑ and post‑procedure expectations
Requirements of the IR RN
Active Virginia RN license or compact eligibility
Current BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years’ Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, ICU, or PACU experience
Strong sedation, assessment, and procedural‑support skills
