Overview

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Emergency Department, a 53‑bed, Level 1 Trauma Center. The position is part‑time, evening shift (second shift) and is located in Norfolk, VA.

• Assess and admit patients in the ED.
• Perform rounding checks and deliver medications.
• Communicate with patients and families about care plans.
• Take overall responsibility for patient care while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and maintain documentation.
