Hours:

Full Time, 36 hours per week. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit. Sign‑on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation available.

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process and critical thinking model.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and coordination of care, including teaching, health promotion, and evaluation.
• Administer chemotherapy, hospice care, radiation, stem cell transplants/CAR‑T, radioactive iodine, and symptom management.
• Monitor physical conditions, prescribe medication, and administer treatments as appropriate.

• Registered Nursing (RN) license required (students in the process of obtaining licensure may apply).
• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) or Sentara approved course; chemotherapy & biotherapy provider card within 6 months of hire.
• New graduate nurses welcome; 11‑week Transition to Practice program and 6‑month residency program available.
• None of experience required.
