Registered Nurse – Same‑Day Surgery Center
Norfolk, VA
Schedule- Part‑time, 36 hours per week
- Rotating daily shift (Monday‑Friday; no weekends or holidays)
Provides nursing care in the same‑day surgery center, collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities- Perform pre‑operative assessment and patient education.
- Coordinate post‑operative care and discharge planning.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
- Assist surgical team during procedures.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Serve as resource for patients and families regarding recovery and post‑operative instructions.
- Virginia or Compact Multi‑State RN license in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 24 months of RN experience preferred.
- RN – Associate, Bachelor, or Master’s degree.
- Medical, dental, vision coverage.
