• Provide individualized psychiatric and medical nursing care for pediatric patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support a therapeutic milieu and ensure patient and staff safety.
• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications and therapeutic interventions.
• Implement Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) protocols.
• Apply conflict resolution techniques and maintain strong interpersonal communication with patients, families, and staff.

• Current Virginia RN license or a valid compact state license.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing is required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Experience in pediatric inpatient psychiatric or pediatric medical‑psychiatric nursing is desirable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and familiarity with psychiatric medications and therapeutic interventions.
