Does NOT require Chemo Certification
Department/Position OverviewThis unit cares for patients with cancer in an inpatient, 36 bed Intermediate Care Unit. We are hiring compassionate RNs to monitor physical conditions, prescribe medication, and administer chemotherapy and other treatments. The care that we deliver is dynamic! Our care includes but is not limited to:
- Chemotherapy
- Hospice
- Radiation
- Stem Cell Transplants / CAR-T
- Radioactive Iodine
- Symptom Management
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
