Supervisor, Inpatient Case Manager RN

Overview

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Supervisor‑Inpatient Case Manager Registered Nurse. This position is full‑time day shift.

• Assume responsibility, accountability and leadership for the daily operations of the Inpatient Case Management department for the assigned hospital location.
• Act as first line supervisor, coordinating work, quality and service of assigned team members.
• Facilitate the work of assigned team members and provide a leadership role in ongoing case‑manager competency assessment, needs identification and educational offerings.
• Provide educational services to the Medical Care Management staff.
• Participate in work activities of assigned teams and provide case‑management services as needed.

• Registered Nurse – BSN required.
• Minimum 3years of case‑management experience.
• Prior supervisor experience.
• Certification in Case Management (CCM, CMAC or ACM‑SW) required within one year of eligibility.
• Ability to work in a hospital practice setting.
