Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Travel – Nights (3 days × 12 hours)

Pay: $2,522 – $2,678 per week
Start Date:
July 27, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:3‑5; float to Telemetry or Med Surg units (1:6‑7).
- Manage patients with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, renal failure, stroke, pneumonia, wounds, and alcohol‑related conditions.
- Perform BIPAP, nurse‑driven diuretic protocols, peritoneal dialysis, and IV Glucommander.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and care coordination.
- Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
- At least 18 months of PCU or Step‑down experience within the last 3 years (minimum 2 overall).
- Certifications:
BLS‑AHA, ACLS‑AHA, CERT‑NIH Stroke Scale. - Holidays, weekends, and floating required.
- Preferred:
Compact RN license (in‑hand), previous travel nursing experience, EPIC EMR proficiency.
