Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit (4HH).

Temporary Full Time 14‑week assignment.

• This unit provides high acuity cardiac care for pre and post cardiac surgery patients, including bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac‑based procedures and treatments.
• Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety and teamwork is a standard of the staff.
• Nurses handle 4 patients on this unit based on acuity level.

• Education:
  
  Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.
• Certification/Licensure:
  Virginia or Compact Multi‑State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale experience.
• Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience.
