This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence‑based practices.
Education- ADN required, BSN or higher preferred
- RN VA or Compact State license in good standing.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525‑bed tertiary care facility with a Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit, and serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
