Registered Nurse - NRC (Evergreen)

We are looking for skilled, professional Registered Nurses to join our team at Norfolk Regional Center as an integral part of the Behavioral Health Division. In this role you will provide critical care to adult patients with mental illness at the Norfolk Regional Center (NRC).

Registered Nurses perform general nursing duties including:

  • Assessment
  • Documentation
  • Patient interventions
  • Case management
  • Medical administration
  • Review of doctors’ orders
  • Arranging for lab protocols
  • May lead or direct the work of other nurses and/or paraprofessional staff

Starting Pay Rate: $51.336/hour. Additional Facility Differential Pay of $3.00/hour when working and additional shift differentials up to $2.50 paid for 2nd and 3rd shifts when working.

8-Hour Shifts
  • Day Shift: 6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
  • Evening Shift: 2:45 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.
  • Night Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
12-Hour Shifts
  • Midday Shift: 10:45 a.m. – 11:15 p.m.
  • Day Shift: 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.
  • Overnight Shift: 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.
Scheduling Structure
  • Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts each week
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska.

Other:
Consideration will be given to applicants who will receive a degree or license within 90 days of application date. Candidates must obtain licensure prior to employment. Valid driver’s license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
