Registered Nurse Cardiac Electrophysiology; EP Lab

, located on the campus of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the EP Lab.

Location: Norfolk, VA

Work Shift: Multiple shifts available

• Provide nursing care to post cardiac procedure patients and other overnight stays in a 24/7 unit.
• Read telemetry independently and provide care for patients in the Cath lab, EP lab, Minor Procedure Room, and Cardiac OR.
• Prepare and recover patients for procedures including Cardiac Catheterization (interventional and diagnostic), Electrophysiology procedures such as ablations, cardioversions, surgery, ICDs/Pacemakers, etc.

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or MSN (preferred)

• Virginia RN License (Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible)
• BLS within 90 days of hire for all Direct Care RNs

• 2+ years of cardiac nursing experience
