OverviewSentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for Cardiac Rehab at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. M-F: must be available between 6:30am and 5:30pm. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, day shift position. No weekends - No major holidays! Must have at least 3 years of direct patient care experience;
Cardiac, ICU or ED experience strongly preferred. BLS within 90 days of hire, ACLS within 1 year of hire.
The Registered Nurse will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, designing and implementing personalized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and evaluating patient responses to interventions. The RN works closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity throughout the treatment process.
In this role, the RN educates patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care, empowers them to make informed decisions, monitors vital signs, observes changes in patient conditions, and responds promptly with appropriate interventions. Utilizing sound clinical judgment, the RN addresses complex health situations, consults with medical team members, and documents all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements- ADN required, BSN or MSN preferred.
