The assignment spans the entire  school year with possible opportunities extending into the Extended School Year (ESY).

• Valid RN licensure and current CPR certification
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt care to a childs individualized health plan
• Exemplary communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and medical professionals
• Compassionate, proactive approach to student care and advocacy

• Provide 1:1 nursing care and health monitoring throughout the school day (8:15am 3:45pm)
• Support the student with daily medical needs including medication administration, emergency response, and routine assessments as required
• Maintain accurate, confidential health documentation in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
• Liaise with school staff and parents to coordinate holistic support plans
• Participate in meetings and training sessions related to student care when necessary
