We are seeking highly qualified full-time Registered Nurse Supervisors to lead our nursing teams and provide exceptional, compassionate care for our residents. The ideal candidates will have senior living experience, such as long-term care, assisted living, or memory support, and a strong commitment to working with older or elderly adults. This role offers 8- and 12-hour shifts in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios.

  • 7AM - 7PM
  • 7PM - 7AM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise nursing staff to ensure accurate, timely resident care, medication administration, and documentation in compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Provide clinical leadership as an RN Supervisor, supporting staff development, accountability, and high-quality resident outcomes in a senior living environment.
  • Provide direct resident care, including admissions, discharges, and monitoring for condition changes; report updates to the Physician, Unit Manager, or Director of Nursing.
  • Conduct nursing audits, including chart reviews, monthly summaries, and other assigned audits across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Support units.
  • Perform regular rounds on care units to ensure adequate staffing, regulatory compliance, and adherence to facility policies.
  • Participate in care planning and family meetings as part of the interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered care.
  • Ensure emergency equipment is functional and respond to emergency calls (E-calls) as assigned.
  • Coordinate nursing services with physicians, Medical Director, residents, families, consultants, and vendors to maintain continuity of care.
  • Investigate incidents and complete accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and resident-centered care environment while ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Nursing degree required; current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years progressive nursing experience in Assisted Living, Memory Support, Long-Term Care, or CCRC, including three (3) years in a supervisory role.
  • Current CPR/BLS/AED certification required; ISP/UAI preferred.
  • EMR experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise, coach, and support nursing staff in a senior living environment.
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, clinical standards, and facility policies.
  • Strong clinical judgment to assess, respond to, and elevate changes in resident condition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborative approach with physicians, therapists, and leadership teams.
  • Compassionate and committed to caring for older adults in senior living settings.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to perform essential duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and assisting residents with mobility and care needs.
