SMG Senior Health Services is currently hiring a full-time Manager, Nursing and Patient Care Services—Ambulatory in Norfolk, Virginia. This role provides supervision of staff, clinical expertise, and oversight of all aspects of operations including patient care, customer service, budget, and risk management. The Manager ensures compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations and standards of care and practice, and the competency of clinical and non‑clinical staff.
The Manager is accountable for developing, monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, patient experience, quality, safety, access and team member performance. The Manager is responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing and retaining staff with the goal of building a highly reliable work team. The Manager utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills and adapts leadership style to support achieving department goals and objectives.
- RN-Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
- Registered Nurse (RN) Single State‑Nursing License‑NC or VA required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 90 days of hire required
- Nursing experience of 2 years required
- Previous supervisory/charge experience preferred
