Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for performing competent nursing care using the nursing process and complying with standards of practice and professional performance including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of care. Provide care within a 42‑bed medical‑surgical unit specializing in adult surgical patients across multiple specialties such as urology, general surgery, ENT, plastic surgery, gynecologic surgery, surgical oncology, and trauma overflow.
The unit includes telemetry monitoring, epoxy monitoring beds, and a living kidney donor transplant bed. Average patient stay is 3‑4 days.
Work scheduled on day and night shifts.
Education- RN degree required
- Virginia RN license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
- Prior RN experience preferred
