RN – PCU
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a progressive care unit (PCU) in Plattsburgh, NY on a travel assignment. This role focuses on acute inpatient progressive care and involves working in a collaborative healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have experience in telemetry and be a part of a resource float team within the facility.

Key responsibilities of the Registered Nurse – PCU include:
- Manage acute patient care for a variety of diagnoses including cardiac and respiratory issues
- Administer insulin and cardiac drips, and perform IV starts
- Conduct frequent monitoring and assessments, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Participate in the care of post-cardiac catheterization patients
- Float to appropriate units as part of the resource team
Requirements of the Registered Nurse – PCU include:
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical and tele experience
- Experience with Epic documentation system within the past 2 years
