Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care - PICU - Travel - (PICU RN).

Shifts:
12 D/N Pay Rate: $2476.00 - $2603.00. Resource Pool (RP) Level 3 RNs are part of a team of caregivers who provide staffing support to a variety of units. RN Level 3 RNs are able to take assignments in general care units as well as at least two critical care units. Assigned units will be within the Level 3 RN’s skill level and could include:
General/Specialty Units:
Medical/Surgical Unit, Hematology/Oncology Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Technology Dependent Intensive Care Unit, Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, Neuroscience Unit, Emergency Department (Minor Care), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, Level II Critical Care Units, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department (Main Treatment Area). All RP Level 3 Staff RNs are supported by the general care unit and critical care unit’s leadership and report to the Operations Center Manager.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse, PICU
Experience:
2 years Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)
Certifications:
BLS; PALS; NRP 2 years minimum of experience FLU required, NO EXEMPTIONS. Successful completion of a general care orientation is required as well as two critical care unit orientations (PICU, NICU, or ED) and can independently initiate standards of nursing practice related to assigned patients. Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaboratively shared leadership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN is preferred. trach care and suctioning/vent. Strong PCA pump.
