Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a renal clinic setting.
The RN will manage clinic-based patient care, including assessments, care coordination, education, and provider support.
The role includes performing a wide variety of patient care activities and supportive services for a defined patient population.
The RN is expected to demonstrate excellence in nursing practice characterized by quality patient care.
Participation in both formal and informal patient and staff education is essential.
Providing developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care is a key responsibility.
The RN will report to the Practice Manager or Supervisor and will work closely with practice physicians.
Planning, providing, and monitoring specific patient needs according to established policies and procedures is a crucial duty.
Ongoing quality assurance participation and maintaining regulatory requirements are expected.
The RN may also assist in establishing and updating applicable policies and procedures.
Additional duties may be assigned as required.
