Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjustable based on acuity
- Monitor and assess neurological patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to the Neuro IMC unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification
- Prior experience in a Neuro ICU or Neuro IMC environment
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Work in a specialized neuro critical care environment with a structured orientation process tailored to your experience level
