Job Description:
This pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) contract offers a front-row seat to the latest in pediatric open-heart surgery recovery. You’ll be working within a specialized 5-bed unit focused exclusively on complex congenital heart cases, with opportunities to handle procedures involving PAP, CVP, IABP, ECMO, CRRT, chest tubes, and arterial lines. The role demands a minimum of five years of pediatric CVICU experience—particularly in open-heart scenarios—ready to handle fresh cases directly from the OR.
Shifts are variable but total 36 hours weekly, providing a flexible schedule to immerse yourself in this focused pediatric specialty without the need to cover adult ICU work.
