Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor– Emergency Department | Level I Trauma Center Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor for our Emergency Department, home to Hampton Roads’ only Level I Trauma Center. Our 53-bed Emergency Department is equipped to manage a wide range of medical emergencies, with approximately 10% of cases related to trauma.

As part of a Level I Trauma Center, you will work alongside experienced emergency medicine providers, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality care when patients need it most. Nurses in this department gain exposure to complex emergency, trauma, cardiac, stroke, critical care, and specialty cases while building advanced clinical skills in a collaborative environment.

Education RequirementsBSN Required Certification/Licensure Requirements Registered Nurse license required

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hireNIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred

Experience Requirements2 years RN experience Required Emergency Department experience preferred

One year Nursing Leadership/Supervisory experience required
