As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will assess, monitor, and implement complex care plans for high-acuity patients in a facility offering advanced pediatric services 1. You must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current RN license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility.
Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Experience in PICU, including hands-on care with respiratory, neurosurgery, and cardiac patients, is recommended

Successful completion of a general care orientation is required as well as two critical care unit orientations (PICU, NICU, or ED) and can independently initiate standards of nursing practice related to assigned patients.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaboratively shared leadership environment.
