This posting is open to all postdoctoral researchers interested in joining a dynamic, interdisciplinary research environment. Research may include experimental, computational, theoretical, or applied work and may involve collaboration across disciplines. Work may be supported by expertise in cross-cutting domains:
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Autonomous & Networked Systems, Computational & Data Science, Cybersecurity & Network Security, and Modeling & Simulation.
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant discipline (completed by the start date)
- Demonstrated research experience in any relevant area
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
- Conduct independent and collaborative research
- Contribute to manuscripts, reports, and grant proposals
- Present research findings at meetings or conferences
- Mentor students and participate in collaborative research groups
The Strome College of Business is a knowledge hub for business, government, and nonprofit organizations. Our faculty lead research in entrepreneurship, business analytics, supply chain management, finance, marketing, economics, management, and public administration. Postdoctoral researchers will find opportunities to connect scholarship with practice, advance applied research, and contribute to solutions for regional, national, and global business and policy challenges.
This position is being filled through the Research Foundation, which is a separate entity from Old Dominion University (ODU). While we work in support of ODU, the Research Foundation operates independently and is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
