This posting serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher Pool. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed as positions become available.

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant discipline (completed by the start date)
• Demonstrated research experience in any relevant area
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams

• Conduct independent and collaborative research
• Contribute to manuscripts, reports, and grant proposals
• Present research findings at meetings or conferences
• Mentor students and participate in collaborative research groups

Access to University laboratories, field equipment, high-performance computing, and specialized resources to support innovative research.

The Batten College of Engineering & Technology conducts research in mechanical, civil, electrical, computer, and systems engineering, with applications across industries and national priorities.

This position is being filled through the Research Foundation, which is a separate entity from Old Dominion University (ODU). While we work in support of ODU, the Research Foundation operates independently and is a not-for-profit, tax‑exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
