Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Full-time Cook for the Food Service Department Shift - Full-time 40 hours a week, 8-hour Rotating Shifts (rotating 8-hour shifts can vary from 4 a.m. to an end time of 8 p.m.) Up to $2,000 Sign-on Bonus for qualified candidates Responsibilities
Prepares all hot foods for patient trayline, café, and functions including (but not limited to) entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items.
LicensureFood Handlers (as required by local Health Department). Experience in Lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.
Education- High School Grad or Equivalent / Experience in Lieu of a degree/diploma will be accepted.
- Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification (as required by local Health Department).
