We're looking for a Kitchen Manager who takes pride in running a sharp back-of-house operation, developing people, and delivering consistent, high-quality food-every shift, every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a clipboard-from-the-office job. You'll be on the line, on expo, and in the kitchen-leading by example and holding standards.
What You'll Do
As a Kitchen Manager, you'll be a key leader in the restaurant and an ambassador for our brand.
- Lead and manage the back-of-house team through clear expectations and strong systems
- Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
- Execute consistent food quality and presentation at all times
- Manage kitchen scheduling, labor targets, and productivity
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Prepare food, work the line, and run the expo window as needed
- Enforce brand standards, procedures, checklists, and recipes
- Communicate clearly with the FOH leadership, management team, and corporate partners
- Maintain equipment, cleaning schedules, and preventative maintenance standards
- Kitchen leadership experience
- A systems-driven mindset-you believe consistency is king
- Comfort leading in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and solution-oriented under pressure
- Basic computer skills
- Desire for a long-term career with room to grow
You must be able to, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Be on your feet for most of your shift (up to 10 hours)
- Work weekends and holidays (up to ~50 hours per week)
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in all weather conditions (Buffalo roots-we don't close for snow)
- Operate standard kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, slicers, and dish machines
- Communicate effectively with both guests and team members
