StoreManager Overview
The Store Manager is an on‑floor leader who performs all store functions while coaching, developing, and inspiring the team to deliver the Sunglass Hut Experience. With strong leadership, energy, and decision‑making, the Manager creates an environment that translates into sales and brand advocacy.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Utilize Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently meet sales plans and company objectives.
- Develop the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results.
- Drive sales by identifying opportunities to meet personal and store goals.
- Lead by example, coaching, developing, mentoring, and inspiring the team to enhance store performance.
- Apply a people‑first philosophy to grow careers, encourage teamwork, and retain talent.
- Network, recruit, hire, and train staff using onboarding tools as part of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Inspire team growth through individual development plans.
- Create an inspirational and motivating work environment that reflects brand integrity.
- Build emotional connections within the store team to translate into sales and ensure consistent delivery of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Spend 100% of time present on the sales floor.
- Continuously coach and develop the team for consistent and absolute execution of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
- Act as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand.
- Build the brand by consistently executing brand standards.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay curious about new merchandise and fashion trends.
- Motivate, coach, and inspire the team to be the best brand ambassadors.
- Ensure flawless execution of operational policies and procedures, upholding brand standards.
- Communicate information regarding promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous leadership experience of at least 2 years.
- Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operations.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Critical thinking ability to deliver absolute execution of store operations.
- Customer service and/or retail experience.
Compensation is based on geography, experience, qualifications, and local wage requirements. You may be offered a bonus and/or commission plan that complements a first‑class total rewards package, which may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off, vacation, and employee discounts.
