Job Description
Bradley David Associates is seeking an International Freight Forwarding Sales Representative to support a reputable and growing logistics organization. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with an existing book of business and strong relationships in global freight markets. Compensation is contingent on book of business plus commission, with flexibility on location for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and grow an existing book of business within international freight forwarding
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across ocean, air, and multimodal freight services
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships with importers, exporters, and global shippers
- Sell end-to-end logistics solutions including ocean freight, air freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and inland transportation
- Prepare and present pricing, proposals, and customized logistics solutions to clients
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline tracking, and customer data within CRM systems
- Proven experience as a Sales Professional / Business Development Manager in international freight forwarding
- Existing book of business required (compensation contingent on revenue and commission)
- Strong understanding of ocean freight, air freight, international trade lanes, and logistics services
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive revenue growth
- Established client base and market knowledge in India, China, Latin America, or other major trade lanes preferred
- Experience selling freight forwarding solutions to importers and exporters
- Ability to work remotely or within regional markets such as Norfolk, Savannah, Atlanta, or nationwide for the right fit
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs brokerage operations
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, import processes, and trade compliance
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring entry writers is highly preferred
- Active U.S. Customs Broker License strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
