Job Summary
Admissions Advisor – Help nursing students succeed at Orbis Education by overseeing the student admission process for the Averett University ABSS program.
Salary: $50,000 per year.
Worksite location: 6320 N. Center Drive, Norfolk, VA 23502.
Schedule:
Mon‑Fri, in‑office for the first six months.
You are self‑motivated, passionate about education, and have experience in customer service, consultative sales, or account management. You thrive on communication and support students and team members as they pursue goals.
Responsibilities- Work autonomously and efficiently in the office.
- Manage phone calls, emails, meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions.
- Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students via in‑person, phone, or email.
- Champion the university mission, promoting student success and enrollment growth.
- Utilize technological tools and collaborate with team to complete tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Outstanding time‑management skills with ability to prioritize competing priorities.
- Clear communication skills (in‑person, written, phone) and strong listening ability.
- Self‑motivated to learn, implement, and shorten the learning curve.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy for diverse prospective students.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
