Uni First Route Coverage Specialist - Norfolk, Virginia

Route Coverage Specialist – deliver scheduled garments and products when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. Requires training on multiple routes.

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and customer details.
• Load, transport, and unload garments and products while collecting used or soiled items.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle condition.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with service, production, sales and office teams on new installations, route support, rerouting, and collections; upsell and strengthen customer relationships.
• Communicate customer feedback and competitor activity to management.

• At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT compliance, including physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new technologies.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
