AD- Adjunct Instructor - Biology Department

Job Duties

• BIO 110L / BIO 111L: Teach General Biology laboratory I (BIO 110L) and General Biology Laboratory II (BIO 111L) to biology majors. The course supports the BIO 110/BIO 111 lecture curriculum and provides students with an understanding of introductory biology concepts. Candidates must have an M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology.
• BIO 163 / BIO 163L: Teach Microbiology for Health Science lecture (BIO 163) and laboratory (BIO 163L) to pre‑nursing and non‑majors. The course focuses on basic microbiology techniques and the characterization of microorganisms. Candidates must have an M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology.
• BIO 165 / 166 / 165L / 166L: Teach Human Anatomy and Physiology lecture and laboratories to health science majors. The course emphasizes hands‑on experience with animal tissues. Candidates must have an M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology and experience teaching anatomy and physiology laboratories.

• All courses: M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology.
• For BIO 165/165L and BIO 166/166L:
  Experience teaching anatomy and physiology laboratories.
