Job Overview
Hotel:
Norfolk Sheraton, 777 Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA 23510. Full‑time position. Compensation Range: $18.54 - $19.47 per hour, determined by experience, skills, qualifications and location. The role requires patrolling the hotel to ensure safety of guests, associates, and property around the clock.
- Patrol the hotel to ensure the safety of guests, associates, and property around the clock.
- Enforce hotel policies with a courteous but firm approach; professionalism is key.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and security requests, staying calm under pressure.
- Monitor entrances, package deliveries, and personnel access to keep things secure.
- Write clear, detailed reports of activities each shift to keep the team informed.
- 2+ years of loss prevention or security experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and TIPS certifications.
- Physical mobility and strength to assist in emergencies when needed.
- Professional and approachable demeanor; good communication and observation skills.
