Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer (Open Availability Required)
Job Summary: We are seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers who have fully open availability and strong customer service and technology skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing excellent service to clients, employees, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure safety and security
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees in a professional manner
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Use security-related technology systems efficiently (e.g., reporting software, badge systems, CCTV)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous security experience preferred but not required
- Must have fully open availability (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic to intermediate technology skills (comfortable using computers, mobile apps, and security systems)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must pass a background check and any required screenings
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable to site)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience with access control systems and surveillance monitoring
- Customer service or public-facing experience
Work Environment: This position may be assigned to various sites including corporate offices, residential communities, retail locations, or industrial facilities.
Schedule: Candidates must have flexible, open availability to work any shift as needed.
