Campus Security Officer

• Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid fraternization with students.
• Ability to perform mobile patrol duties, including walking approximately 5–8 miles per day, and working outdoors in inclement weather as required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Solid computer skills.
• Open availability required.

Pay rate: $16.00.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Open availability required.

Pay rate: $17.00 and up.

• Weekend position only — must have open availability on Saturday and Sunday.
• Cover all events for Portsmouth and Norfolk areas. Must have open availability.
• Experience is preferred but not required.

Pay rate: $17.00.

• Valid driver's license.
• Open to working weekends and have a flexible schedule.
• TWIC is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Preferred 1 year of security experience.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client site, ensuring security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking for long periods; may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
