Top Guard Security is the leading security guard service provider in Virginia Peninsula and surrounding areas, hiring armed and unarmed security guards for Norfolk and Virginia Beach locations.

This full‑time role requires 8‑hour shifts, is open for 24 positions, and reports to an Account Manager. The appointment is for a full‑time basis with options for part‑time employees to receive benefits.

• Maintain a professional demeanor and exceptional customer service at all times.
• Use situational decision making and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of specialized law‑enforcement, security, or military experience or training for certain contract sites.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check.
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, up to an 8‑hour shift.
• Endure cold and hot weather for an 8‑hour shift and occasionally lift or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Speak audibly, clearly, and understandably.
• Work occasional weekends and holidays.

High School Diploma or GED.

Clear criminal history for background investigation.
