Evening Security Officer

Life Protect 24/7 is searching for self‑motivated, high‑performing individuals with security experience and a desire to advocate for team safety. If this sounds like you, you are a great candidate for our Full‑Time Security Officer.

• Walking rounds in the building & on the property
• Assisting in opening lockers
• Actively watching security camera footage, communicating infractions with management
• Responding to calls for assistance:
  • Code Blue – Medical Emergency
    • Coordinate with emergency services
  • Code Red – Security issues
• Securing the premises of our Norfolk, VA headquarters
• Ensuring the safety of working personnel by patrolling property
• Monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, access points, and permitting entry
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities
• Informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers

• Previous security experience
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal)
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time

Pay: $15/hour

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 3:15 pm‑11:15 pm; eligible for full‑time benefits
