Job Schedule:

Day – Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

As a part‑time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients at government facilities, providing a visible presence and responding to incidents in a calm, problem‑solving manner. You will carry out routine and random patrols, conduct customer service, and communicate with personnel and local authorities.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and/or persons, documenting all incidents as required.
• Communicate and collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as needed.
• Follow post orders and protocols specific to the government environment, adapting as necessary to changing situations.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by answering questions and providing directions within the location.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
